Blogging Permission Slips and Squirrels!

Omega the permission slips for students to begin blogging are almost finished. I hope to send thme out by the end of the week. Have you read the article at www.cnn.com about the life of squirrels? I think it would be great to know what it is like to be a squirrel. The article mentions that squirrels can figure out how to outsmart many man made devices. Even though I do not like any organism from the rodent family (yes, even hamsters), squirrels are interesting. Although I do question the money spent watching squirrels because I wonder if that money could be better used else where.

Owl Pellets

Yes, owl pellets are not the prettiest or cleanest activity that we can do in science class but they are very interesting. Did anyone find bird bones?
