Snow Day Extra Credit
Our next unit of study will be weather and since we have been having severe weather I will give you extra credit for getting a jump start on your next unit.
On your Blog discuss he following. You may earn up to 8 points extra credit for an in depth well thought out Blog. Remember you need to include your sources and do not violate copyright laws.
The storm that gave you this lovely snow day is being called a snowacane in reference to a hurricane explain how the storm formed and compare it to how a hurricane forms. Remember to discuss winds, global patterns, precipitation, water cycle and how it affects the community. pictures are always a plus.
This is due by March 3rd. You will find grade sheets post in the folder by Tuesday.

The effects on the ecosystem can be as simple as their role in a food web, do they eat other organisms that bother people, make honey. spin silk, bore holes in trees, what is their niche. Do they help people or do they harm people? Do they transfer illness?
